Thanksgiving!!

I am so ready for thanksgiving! Not only only am I ready for great food but being off from work lol. The Wens. before Jack Ingram is going to be at Dos Amigos and I can't wait!! I love me some Jack. He is one of the best song writers and performers. I can put his cd in and just listen to the whole thing over and over no matter how many times I've heard it lol. I have never been to a bad show either. He's going to be in Austin sometime soon (with another artist I love Bonnie Bishop) and I wish I could go up for that show but maybe next time lol. Then on thanksgiving I am making the big drive to Andrews (I know it's a long hard drive but someone has to make it lol) and eat lunch with my Dad and his family. I don't know if my cousin's are going to be there but I hope so because I haven't seen them in a while. My cousin Patrick goes to school in Brownwood at Howard Payne and then Emily and Elliott live here in Odessa but I don't see them very often because either I'm to busy or they are w/ school and all there extra curricular activities lol. Man do they have some activities lol. But even if they aren't it'll still be a good lunch. Then after that I'm going to go visit my Nana and Sumer. Oh and Mr. Frisbee. How could I have forgotten about him! lol Hopefully I won't wear myself out because of driving back and forth all weekend. I hope everyone has a safe and happy thanksgiving!!!

Oh to be 16 again

Hey everyone! My youngest cousin Sumer is 16 today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMER!! lol I tried to remember what I did for my 16th bday and I think I prob. just rode around big A in the stang. Aw.....RIP stang. I miss that car lol. I want another one. This isn't a pic of mine but this is what it looked like. Color and all. I'll try finding a pic of mine and put it on here. I was flipping channel's the other day and Sewell Ford was doing a infomercial type thing but they were redoing a 65 mustang. That's what got me thinking about the old stang again. For those of you that don't know my first car that I got when I was 15 was a 1965 maroon Mustang. At the time I liked it for a while but then I hated it because it was old. When I bought it the stang had the original radio in it and they had put a radio under the dash but since I got the car when I was 15 for my 16th bday my parents had a new stereo put in. We took out the original and put the new one in. It was pretty cool. So many memories in that car lol. "Freeze outs"(when my sister and her friends made me mad me and my friends would drive w/ the windows down in the middle of winter and would freeze them out...I honestly feel really horrible now about it lol), scraping bottom when I would first pull through Sonic, dying of a heat stroke in the middle of July because I didn't have an A/C and had black leather interior, running out of gas and thinking it was my starter and my Dad fixing it in the middle of a snow storm when it was really the gas prob. lol, getting soaked when I would go through the car wash cause the windows leaked, driving endless hours around Andrews and by certian peoples houses......I could go on. lol I hate thinking about some stuff now of when I was younger because I did take so much for granted. One of my goals in life is to get another car like it. When I sold it and I would see this video by Jeff Carson for his song "The Car" and I would get sad seeing him finally get his mustang and I had just sold mine lol. I know I've been reminissing alot on some of my blogs but I love thinking about memories. I don't feel as if I'm making memories right now in my life. I just feel like I'm here. I'm just stuck. Like my mustang stuck trying to get over the speed bumps in the school parking lot lol. I feel like things are about to start happening so we'll just wait and see.

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry for the big gap between blogs. Some stuff happened involving my blogspot and I just hadn't been in the mood to update until now. This is a pic of my 3 best friends (besides my sister). We had a house warming party at Ragan's new house that she just bought and I took it of us. I love these girls to pieces. We have our moments when one's not getting along w/ the other but what group of girls doesn't? lol I've been friends w/ Ragan since the 8th grade, aka a long time lol. We've definitely had our ups and downs. I can remember at the end of our 8th grade year my head swelled and didn't talk to her that whole summer. I'm so glad though that we stayed friends and we are still friends to this day. Robbie and I were friends in school but not one's that went and did stuff together until our senior year. She, Ragan, and I were inseparable after that. We had some great times in what we call the best summer ever the summer of 99. Robbie and I have also had a time where we didn't speak but I am so glad that we are as close as we always were. Kristy and I became good friends shortly after the summer of 99. Kristy and I also had the friendship that we were friends but didn't do things together. I had started beauty school in the July of 99 and one night me, the girls, and our boys were hanging out on the Exxon parking lot (yes I lived in a small town lol) and she asked me if I needed a job because the salon she was working in needed a receptionist that was going to beauty school. So after that I got the job and we would ride to work together and I started taking her w/ me over to my friends house to hang out w/ all of us. I am so thankful for these girls. I absolutely do not know what I would do with out them. So if they are reading this..... THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR ME AND TAKING CARE OF ME! lol
